Returning home to SF from Utah I was driving through the Mojave Desert near sunset. There was a brief rain shower and the desert just lit up. I stopped along the road and took this photo.

These are digital scans of 4x5 film transparencies and negatives. All (except the one of me) were taken in the 1980s with my Zone VI 4x5 field camera setup (RIP Fred Picker!). The one of me was taken by a friend with his medium format Hasselblad camera.
